IMPORTANT - It is now company policy that we will only send items to the card holder's registered address (Billing Address), this policy is in place to protect both the customer and retailer. If you do require items to be sent to an address other than the billing address or for further information please contact us first.

When making payments with ALS we take your privacy very importantly. We do not store credit card details nor do we share customer details with any 3rd parties, our website host and courier will see your contact details to enable them to send emails regarding your purchase and despatch of your order to you. See our Website policy for further information. We will hold and process your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy, and only hold data that is necessary to maintain your account records and provide you with our services. These can include things like name, address and order history.

PRIVACY POLICY

Basic personal data is needed in order for a sale to be processed. This includes your name, address email and contact phone number. We do not store any sensitive information.

WARRANTY

Where goods are returned under warranty, they will be repaired or replaced in accordance with the manufacturer’s conditions. ALS shall exercise its sole discretion in deciding whether to repair or replace the item returned under Warranty. Warranty DOES NOT INCLUDE routine service work or repairs necessitated by misuse. Please email us about any repair.

In any liability that ALS may have to the customer shall be subject to a maximum sum of the sums payable by the customer to ALS only in relation to this sale and supply agreement.

DELIVERY CHARGES UK

Delivery charges will apply as displayed in our current brochure or web site. Our delivery terms are DAP and the goods shall be at the customer’s risk at the point of arrival at the agreed delivery address or ‘safe place to leave if out’. Where delivery is to the Channel Islands, Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, remote locations and all European and Worldwide locations we reserve the right to pass on further delivery charges, taxes and duties incurred by ALS in addition to that quoted at the time of order.

RETURNS Policy

We want you to enjoy your new equipment, however if for any reason there is anything you are not happy with, you can return the item within 14 days of receipt for a full refund of the goods only or exchange of your purchase. When returning an item please ensure it is in the original packaging and fit for re-sale. If you choose to return your item, please contact us first either by e-mail or telephone.

Receipt of damaged or faulty goods. The Customer is entitled to a full refund or exchange, including basic delivery cost, if they notify ALS of any damages or faults within 14 days of receipt of goods. If the Customer has signed a courier receipt to say that the goods were received in good order then ALS will not subsequently accept liability for damages sustained in transit.

If the goods have already been despatched, the customer is liable to pay for their return. Items must be returned unopened and in resale-able condition. No returns will be accepted without prior authorisation.

PAYMENT TERMS

The Customer shall pay on ordering of the goods unless a credit account with the Company has been approved, in which case the credit terms below shall apply. Payment shall be in a form acceptable to the Company.

Notwithstanding that the risk in the goods shall pass to the Customer on delivery, title of goods (whether separate and identifiable or incorporated in or mixed with other goods) shall remain with ALS until payment in full has been received.

Invoices in respect of goods supplied are payable on presentation except for Customers with approved credit facilities, where payment should be received within 30 days of the invoice date. All payments shall be made without deduction or set off. ALS reserves the right in accordance with the provisions of the late payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998 to charge interest on overdue accounts at the rate of 8% above the base rate of the Bank of England.

All prices are subject to VAT which will be charged at the rate ruling at the date of sale.

All items have UK VAT at 20% included in the current prices (June 2022)

ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY

 

Our manufactured products are built with sustainability in mind. Our experienced team works hard to ensure optimal use of materials to maximise efficiency and minimise wastage. Our products are built to stand the test of time and will last far longer than lower-quality alternatives.

We constantly try to reduce the amount of printed-paper produced. Where possible we email guides. All packaging material that we receive from suppliers is reused where possible. We stock a wide variety of box sizes to ensure orders are packaged efficiently. Waste paper, plastic and cardboard are recycled. Electrical devices and lighting are switched off when not in use. All of which has been a mainstay of ALS since the start.
