About us
Anglian Lepidopterist Supplies (ALS) was set up in 1998 and is a family run business by Jon & Adelene.
Both Adelene and Jon started moth trapping together in 1988 and are active throughout the UK and Europe.
Jon’s background includes working with the RSPB on various reserves throughout the UK and with the Essex Wildlife Trust. He has also conducted survey work for the Olympics Committee, Forest Enterprise, RSPB, etc and ran moth identification courses for Butterfly Conservation and The Field Studies Council, he is also co-author of various moth identification books.
Adelene has volunteered with the Essex and Norfolk Wildlife Trusts and also worked with educational groups for the Hawk & Owl Trust.
